Burning Torch's debut collection, made from recycled vintage garments, was bought by Barneys New York in the fall of 1999. As the distribution expanded rapidly, the collection transformed in tandem with Craven focused on the creation of distinctive silhouettes, newly developed fabrics and treatments, as well as unique hand-detailing. Today, each Burning Torch garment reflects tremendous attention to detail, which has become a signature characteristic of the line. The collections are also perceived as transcending age and time - a key reason for the loyal following that the brand enjoys.

Burning Torch currently employs over twenty people in-house and the line has morphed into a progressive fashion brand that produces five collections per year comprised of a wide selection of lifestyle pieces. Craven not only designs each new collection personally but also oversees the quality and individuality of the line as it continues to grow rapidly. This year alone, Burning Torch will launch an accessories collection and a Burning Torch men's line, set to debut in the Fall. In Spring 2007, the brand will add Baby Torch to the family. "A small Burning Torch boutique hotel in a remote exotic location, complete with Torch furnishings and our signature style", says Craven.
